This application information is for our records only, to help us make sure we match the right puppy with the right people. We’re not looking for perfect people, we’re looking for special people who are honest, dedicated and loving who want to add a Guardian Boerboel puppy into their life.
We actually want you to search around, talk to other breeders and really make sure that we’re the right fit for you.
We want you to Do your Research and submit an application because you REALLY like OUR Puppies and OUR Breeding program the BEST! We’re confident in our puppies and we want you to be too.
Make sure you visit our Facebook page as well as our website! We post daily updates of our current puppies plus we post a lot of family updates & pictures of our past puppies growing up!
We don’t demand anything except that you be willing to commit and have the patience and resources to raise one of our puppies into adulthood and also to KEEP them as your FOREVER companions and if not (for any reason) that you notify us FIRST so that we can either take them back or help you place them in another loving home.
Hopefully, we’ve already spoken to you in regards to the puppies we currently have available or one of our upcoming litters. If not then please text us first before filling out this application. We don’t always have available spots on our puppy lists.
If you submit this application before we talk that’s OK too… just make sure you text or call me soon after otherwise your application might get lost in the shuffle.
Definitely do NOT put a puppy deposit down until we’ve talked/texted and I’ve given you the go-ahead. Once I have both your puppy application and deposit and know which litter you’re interested in then I can add your name to the correct puppy litter list and start the process of adoption. Submitting an application alone DOES NOT get your name on one of our lists.

Psst…thanks for completing this application! At first glance, you might thing “sheesh, this is a little long – are all these questions really necessary?” I know, because I thought the same thing when we got our dogs! Our pups are raised indoors, loved on from day one and exposed to several different stimuli while here assuring we give them the best possible start in life. A good dog starts with a good breeder!
Every family is different, and there are no right or wrong answers. We know many families have two working adults and we don’t expect anyone to be a superhero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every home has different needs, and this application helps us identify who needs what and what homes might make the best fit. If you’re a veteran dog owner, we don’t want to waste your time regaling things you already know; by the same token, if this is your first puppy we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- You must be 18 years or older to purchase a puppy.
- You acknowledge you have researched Boerboels and are prepared to spend the necessary money to provide proper care and training.
- A $500 deposit is required to be sent with this application and is non-refundable and any additional payment(s) received for said puppy are non-refundable, but can be transferrable to a future litter. When submitting your non-refundable $500 puppy deposit you’re also agreeing to our non-refundable deposit/payment terms, puppy contract and our 12 month health guarantee. Please note that if any future litter has previous deposits, those previous deposit will have priority.
- All monies received for said puppy are non-refundable, however maybe transferred to another litter.
- All puppies remain the property of Guardian Boerboels until the ‘Purchase Agreement’ is finalized, Payment in Full (including any applicable fees i.e. boarding fee) is received and the puppy is in your possession. Guardian Boerboels reserves the right to not sell a puppy to anyone for any reason, including non-confirmation of supplied information on this form.
- At the time you finalize your purchase of a puppy you will be provided with a Purchase Agreement that specifies the breeder’s policies. You must agree and sign the document before the sale will happen. A copy of the document can be provided in advance and is located on this website.
If this application is approved, you’ll be notified and a Deposit Agreement will be sent to you when payment is finalized. Please read it, sign it, make a copy for your records and send the original back to us.
A puppy will not be sold without a signed contract. We believe it’s the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it’s a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.
From time to time we may decide to keep a puppy out of a litter. We reserve the right to hold puppies. This may mean that certain puppies may not be available for a couple weeks while we decide on if we may keep the said puppy or not.
Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks. We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days unless other written arrangements are made.
*Both the deposit and the application MUST be submitted before your name will be added to the waiting list and we must speak first as well!*
Guardian Boerboels retains the rights to first pick from ALL of our litters, but we don’t always keep one…
NOTE: If the pup you are adopting is OVER 6 weeks payment-in-full is REQUIRED, we do not allow payments. Pups over 8 weeks are subjected to ‘Extended Stay’ fees.
Breeding pairings are subjected to change at anytime without notice.
