Couldn’t be happier with my Boerboel puppy! From the moment I brought my puppy home, it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience. This breed is truly incredible—loyal, intelligent, protective, and at the same time so loving and gentle. My puppy has such a calm, confident temperament and is already showing how easy it is to train with consistency and care.

I also have to give so much credit to Christina &husband. They are genuinely amazing people who clearly love and care deeply about their dogs. You can tell they put so much time, knowledge, and heart into raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. They were supportive, transparent, and always willing to answer any questions I had, which made the whole process feel comfortable and trustworthy

I lost my service dog of 8yrs she was a Boerboel. Soon after her passing I began looking for another Boerboel, I had initially tried to get one from a breeder in South Africa like I did with my previous one but that turned into a nightmare logistically.

So I started looking for breeders stateside and came across Guardian Boerboels, who from the first phone call I knew they would be a good fit. I let them know what my needs were for a pup and they worked with me and selected the pup that would fit the bill.

Turned out my pup had far exceeded my expectations, he is exceptional in every way , smart , kind , stable personality, conformation is near perfect and best of all his service dog training is coming along nicely. Tanka is now 15 months old and still very much a puppy but has filled my life with so much joy and happiness and I owe Christina and John of Guardian Boerboels for making it happen.

I Highly recommended Guardian Boerboels, they truly care about the breed and are doing right by keeping the breed standard and healthy Boerboels as well as making their clients feel like family.

Already being deeply involved in dogs, I was very particular about where I wanted to get my second Boerboel. Guardian Boerboels was one of the few breeders I found who publicly provides full health testing and also completes the breed appraisal process on each dog. I’ll be honest — I’m a very picky breeder — but Christina and her husband checked every box for me.

I was also a little choosy on color since I already have a red male. I wanted something completely opposite so they wouldn’t match — I like contrast! 😂 Christina was patient and understanding the entire time. She kept me included from newborn updates all the way to go-home day, and there was never any pressure. She even offered several times to switch if I didn’t love the color.

Knowing her lines produce stable, thoughtful temperaments — and knowing the breed itself — I wasn’t overly worried about temperament because I truly believe so much of that is shaped by training and environment. And I felt confident that if there had been any red flags, she would have told me, especially knowing I plan to appraise and potentially breed in the future.

Baby Toothless arrived to Florida this week, and she’s everything we hoped for. Christina sent her with a thoughtful go-home bag, set up puppy insurance for travel, and this pup is confident, stable-minded, and settling in beautifully — even with young kids in the house.

We are truly grateful to have found a breeder who puts as much into her program as we do ours. 💛
