This page includes our information on our Puppy Pricing & Shipping Fees…

Please be 100% positive you want a Guardian Boerboel puppy MORE than any other puppy BEFORE you place a deposit on one of our litters.

PUPPY PRICES

Prices are as follows effective September 15, 2021

  • Puppy Deposit: $500-$800 (non-refundable)
  • Breeders Choice: $5000
  • Guardian Boerboel Puppies (w/Limited (PET) Registration): $3,300
  • Guardian Boerboel Puppies (w/Full Registration): $3,800
  • Guardian Boerboel Adults (Non-breeding/Retired): $500-$3,300
  • Guardian Boerboel Adults (Breeding): case-by-case
  • Guardian Boerboel Stud Fee (select studs only): $4000-$4500

Prices are subject to change. While our prices may increase periodically, if the contract & deposit have already been submitted prior to the increase, contract price is honored for the contracted litter.

We use the term “Breeder’s Choice” to depict “our” pick or what we feel is the “best of the litter”.

So, what does 1st pick “really mean”?  In short, it means the person holding 1st pick will get the first “available” public pick.  What does “available public pick” mean?  For example, if we, as the breeder, want to retain a puppy(s) for our program, the 1st pick will be AFTER the “Breeder’s Choice.”

EXTRA FEES:

  • Puppy Shipping: Starting at $500 and may vary depending on the size & age of your puppy. (We do not profit on shipping).
  • Extended Stay/Boarding: $15 a day – $105 a week

For the Balance we accept Cash, Money Orders or Cashier Checks at 6 (six) weeks of age. If you want to pay your balance using PayPal, please be aware you will be responsible for the extra 3.5% PayPal service fee, UNLESS paying via ‘Friends & Family’.

Please prepare in an advance to either mail us your payment to avoid PayPal fees or bring it with you on puppy pick day (at 6-7 weeks old). We can also accept payment over Facebook Messenger, which is a direct bank to bank transfer, Walmart to Walmart, Venmo, Zelle (Most banks offer Zelle now), Cash App, Apple Pay or Google Pay. (Buyer is responsible for any fees.)  

We will definitely discuss your individual payment options before puppy pick day, at 6-7 weeks old.

SHIPPING FEES

We recommend that all puppies be picked-up on their go home date. However, should you need another means of pick-up and delivery, we have listed the following options for you:

  • Pick-up: Pick up your puppy in-person at Guardian Boerboels or we can meet you at Everett Paine Field Airport. Paine Field has a small regional airport. Please contact us in advance regarding arrangements.
    🛩 Your puppy will be small enough to be “carried on” the plane. You must purchase a pet carrier that will fit under your seat. If you are planning to pick your puppy up it’s important to reserve your puppy’s ticket in advance. Please contact the specific airline regarding pricing & regulations for carry-on pet travel.
    You are welcome to make a trip out of it and come visit our pack we have a great pet-friendly hotel down the road with shops and restaurants within walking distance.
  • 🏡 Home Delivery: We prefer to deliver your puppy if you cannot make arrangements to do the pick-up in person. If you are less than 100 miles from us, we may be able to deliver your puppy for $1/mile for the round-trip mileage.
  • 🚘 Pet Ground Shipping: Starting at $500, varies depending on the size, age of your puppy, and location. (We do not profit on shipping). We have a few transporters we trust!
  • ✈️ NEW! Flight Pet Nanny: Cost varies depending on size & location (non-refundable once booked). We have shipping nannies available now!! They fly with your pup in-cabin and hand delivers pup to you at your home or airport.Our nannies do not fly ‘Standby’ like most nannies. We work with you to coordinate schedules, and you will be provided with a full flight itinerary. The cost of flight delivery does vary. Quotes are available upon request. We prefer this option as it gives your puppy a much less traumatic arrival. We handle all arrangements for you. (This option does have time, location restrictions and/or limitations.)

We work with a lot of families traveling all over the state and country, so please be patient with us on exact times. We will work with each one of you to make pick-up day run smoothly and efficiently. We will make all the shipping arrangements for you. We will search for the shortest available flight, preferably with no layovers. We’ll try to make arrangements 1-2 weeks in advance, if possible, but sometimes we make them only a couple days in advance. We will communicate with you all the flight information. Payment in full including shipping fee MUST be received before shipping arrangements can be made.

Shipped and delivered puppies arrive with their “Going Home Packet” Please indicate if you need to discuss delivery or shipping options with us when you fill out our online puppy application.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AGREEMENT

We ask for a $500-$800 “Non-Refundable deposit” to get your name on the puppy pick list. Basically, because we want our families to be invested in their future puppy and also be positive about US as their puppy’s breeders.

A puppy is a 10–14-year commitment and we want our families to have completed their research, talked to other breeders and ultimately decided on us before placing a deposit.

We want our families to be done “looking around” and our lists also fill up quickly and we have to start turning away truly interested or ready families.

Our “Puppy Deposits” are non-refundable however, they are transferable to our next or future litter. 

PUPPY DEPOSIT TRANSFERS

If you’re unable to take your puppy home for any reason or if you need to wait for a future litter your deposit is transferable to a future litter.

We do ask that you be respectful of our time as well as the other people on the pick list by letting us know RIGHT AWAY… so we know exactly how many puppies we have available and we’re not turning away interested families.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

As we all know, Return Policies for Pets is different from most things you buy.  Here at Guardian Boerboels, we strive to ensure your puppy is healthy and without significant issue, but when it comes to physical characteristics; DNA is a tricky thing.  We cannot guarantee anything about the puppy you purchase as far as size, breeding ability, or show ability.  However, we do have a very distinct 18-month Health Guarantee.
YOU CAN RETURN A DOG TO US AT ANY STAGE OF LIFE, AND WE WILL REHOME IT FOR YOU.  This does not include receiving your money back.  Any type of financial reimbursement should not be expected except in rare circumstances.  If you feel you have one of those rare circumstances, please don’t hesitate to ask.  We are always willing to discuss the situation.

EXTENDED STAY/BOARDING

We do ask that you please be able to take your puppy home at the pre-scheduled take home dates (8 to 8 1/2 weeks old). Keeping puppies after their pre-scheduled pick-up time is considered an “Extended Stay” …  We will give you 3 extra days at no charge, but after that we do start charging boarding fees.

Extended Stay/Boarding fees: $15 per day

Puppies MUST be paid for in full by or before their scheduled go home date.  We cannot hold puppies for an “extended stay” with just a puppy deposit. We need solid confirmation.

Payment must be made using either cash, money order, cashier check or PayPal.  (Remember: PayPal charges a 3.5% extra fee (which you will be responsible for, unless paying via Friends & Family). We can also accept payment over Facebook Messenger, which is a direct bank to bank transfer, Walmart to Walmart, Venmo, Zelle (Most banks offer Zelle now), Cash App, Apple Pay or Google Pay. (Buyer is responsible for any fees.)  

We ask that all extended stay requests be pre-approved so there are no surprises. Payment for an extended stay must also be paid as part of your balance. If you go over the amount of days PRE-APPROVED or planned, then you MUST bring the remaining fees at time of pickup in CASH.

BOARDING IS FOR GUARDIAN BOERBOEL PUPPIES ONLY. SORRY, WE CAN NOT BOARD PUPPIES OR DOGS FOR THE PUBLIC.

PICKING FROM OUR LITTERS – TEMPERAMENT OVER COLOR

Here at Guardian Boerboels we breed for temperament and health ABOVE ALL, and pretty colors are an extra bonus.

We ask our families to wait until our puppies are 6 weeks old to meet and pick their puppy from the litter… we do this so that families have a better idea which puppy is going to be the right match. However, puppies tend to change from week to week the first 8 weeks. For example, a puppy at 6 weeks old might be a tad shy…  but by 8 weeks will have gained more confidence.

Temperament testing is done on each puppy at 49 days old as recommended and we use the Volhard Puppy Temperament Test. Please visit our page about Puppy Temperament/Aptitude Testing for more info.

We want you to get your ‘GUARDIAN PUPPY’ not just any puppy.

Remember: PayPal charges a 3.5% extra fee, which you will be responsible for, UNLESS paying via ‘friends & family’.

You are NOT paying for an ‘item/goods or service’ please be sure when sending payment, it is marked that you are sending to someone you trust. Otherwise, if payment is not sent via ‘friends & family’ it will be rejected.

When submitting your non-refundable $500 puppy deposit you’re also agreeing to our non-refundable deposit terms, puppy contract & our 18-month health guarantee.
